Why I…

the vast majority of the vegan folks I know(including myself and my partner) have all been well below the poverty line. I understand that if you’re in a situation where you aren’t in control of your own food supply then it becomes much harder to be vegan, but assuming you do have control over your own food, there is no financial reason not to be. If you somehow end up making a vegan diet cost more than an omnivorous one, you’re doing it wrong.
